i had a school of 3 bala sharks, one was about 6'' (female) one was 5.5'' (male) and one about 4.5''(male). last night after a successful 25% water change and test for ammonia, nitrates and nitrites i come home 6 hours later and my two biggest sharks are dead! i was shocked because they showed no signs of parasites, fungus or lethargy. they were active and in good shape. my smallest one is still healthy and active. they both had a red blotch right on their underbellys just behind their gills when i found them. can someone please tell me why they may have died so i can prevent my survivor from dying. thanks for any input.
