I recently just started introducing my bettas to froozen bloodworms i also feed it bio gold pellets...how do i balance the diet so i dont over feed him and get him use to it without getting him bloated?

well fasting him one day of hte week would be good for his digestive system. Peas every two weeks or so would be good as well :)

i pretty much only feed my bettas the pellets and frozen bloodwroms, with the ocassional pea. I might try seaweed later :p

i usually feed bio gold daily , bloodworms once to twice a week plus 2 days of feeding peas sometime.

i don't know but i believe someone fed seaweed to their fish, don't listen to me on in though i still haven't tried -_-

I feed my bettas:

Weekday:

A little daphnia first before they get regular food (just a couple of bites of the Hikari).Next I feed them 2 balls of the Hikari pellets (for the ones that eat it) and flakes for the ones that won't eat the pellets.

Weekend:

Then on the weekend I feed them frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp on Saturday and portions of peas on the Sunday.

My boys get 3 pellets each for breakfast and 3 again for dinner.

I feed them bloodworms for dinner 2-3 times a week. Pea only on Sunday.

Bio-Gold once a day, sometimes brineshrimp, sometimes peas.

i dont keep my fish on a regular diet, i just surprise em everyday :D keeps em happy and entertain. i use: brine shrimp ( all kinds ) , baby earth worms , peas, letus, insect eggs and larve of any kind ( mainly ant and masquito ) , and umm they nibble on alge a lil. thats it
