Bag Buddies

I am planning on shipping some inverts (crayfish and shrimp) and I was wondering if I could use bag buddies to calm them down.

Would it work?? Is it safe??? will the inverts be ok?

The online store I bought my red cherry shrimps from used bag buddies, so yeah, they should be fine. Put some plants in so they have something to cling on to though. (ie. a piece of anachris, cabomba, java moss etc).

I bought my shrimp on ebay and he uses bag buddies and all mine arrived safe
