what do you think also once rid of the snail (rehome him not bin dont worry) im going to have two micro crabs there ok with red bee shrimp right??

enjoy thanks bae

pretty good photos for a 20 pound camera imo

I can't quite believe an assasin snail could kill a shrimp. Have you ever tried prodding one before? They move like lighting...snails don't.

oh well id rather be safe than sorry since i spent 20 pound on the 6 shrimp and 1.50 on the snail id rather give it to my brother for his tank

Lol, fair enough. I'm about to shell out £90 on 10 shrimp :crazy: so I feel your pain. If anything happens to them I'll be devastated.

It looks really nice by the way, and definitely some good picture for a £20 camera!

holy what and how many shrimp you getting for that (nosey i know)

and yeah its kinda scary that i paid 1 pence more for my shrimp (admitadly my cam was off ebay)

That's not even the worst part lol.

That would be 10 CRS S+ Grade £8.99 a head (not including postage).
And then I'm getting 10 Blue Tigers at £12.99 a head (again not including postage).

My birthday is coming up, I just got a pay rise and I'm downgrading/ selling up with my large tank. It's going to hurt, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

ah cool it sounds daft but are my shrimp cbs (cyrstal bee shrimp) / or other thats what they were called in the shops

if so can you tell what grade (im guessing pretty low as they were only 3.50 a shrimp but still

CBS = Crystal black shrimp
CRS = Crystal red shrimp

Yes they are crystal reds, and I'd say they're A grade ish. So 3.50 is a fair price from what I've seen :)

what kind of plant is that in the picture with the shrimp.
They are very beautiful shrimp. I love mine, but with my huge tank they get lost and i never end up seeing them.

i cant remember the name but p@h sells it its a easy care plant tho

also thanks curiosity

It looks very good. As for the plant, looks like a lymnophyla species, or at least the tip of it. Maybe cabomba?

The shrimp are pretty sweet, I wouldn't take any chances with them either.

llj

thanks the plant is just a piece that i snipped off the tip of the main plant in my other tank

god you people spend a lot on shrimp, I'd get 5 and let 'em breed.

Ha, I thought that plant was fake :blush: What is the name of it? I'm trying to find something cool as a centerpeice

Any updates?
