bad shopping trip

went to my lfs to buy a heater for another tank i am setting up,lol
only to find this gorgeous blue male betta veiltail, on looking at him for some length of time, i noticed his tail was actually split.
at first i thought it was fight damage or something, but kept looking at him and could see nothing else wrong with him.

when me have got him settled in will post a piccy or two, so you guys can give my your veiws on his split tails etc.

I got a betta that had a split tail. I thought that it was damage. I have had him for over a month and it hasn't gotten any better. I think he was born that way. When he flares, it looks like he has a chunk taken right out of his tail. Good luck and I can't wait to see pictures!
