:( Just went to feed my guys. My pet veil tail was sitting on the bottom which is extremely rare for him. When he came up for food, I noticed a large tumor like growth on his head. This was not there this morning.

Two tanks down my always hungry green guy didn't even move when I went to feed him. Just two hours before he was begging for food.

The water was changed three days ago. Same water as always. All tanks were given the same changes and water. The partners of both fish are active and appear to be fine.

To add insult to injury, my tail biter decided that his tail looked too nice and savaged it.

I am seriously beginning to wonder if I should stop feeding the black worms completely.

Anyone have any ideas?

dont share water between tanks and make sur ur equiptmnet is clean, u dont want to spread this disease. black worms are good but you've gotta have some vereity in their diet, they will get bored and it could make them sick from eating so much so maybe limit their portions and throw something odd into the mix, like betta bites or hikery brand foods of some kind ;)

Just curious why you think feeding black worms is causing your problems. Did they start after you started feeding it?

-_- I've been feeding black worms for months. I just don't know if they are good because of the problems I've had with dropsy and now this. I do feed a variety of foods including bites plus a day of fasting.

The water and equipment is not shared. It's just identical - from the same source, with the same amount of salt, etc. Each tank has it's own net.
