bacterial Tail Rot

ok I had this probablem with all my other guppies that are already died I just looked it up for myself because nobody seem to know what it was and I came up with bacterial Finrot looks just like mine now how to I get rid of it .....Melafix only helped a little and I had the fish on it for two weeks

So tell me what to do now

could try some proper antibacterial finrot med

i have seen better results using Interpet Anti Fungus and Finrot treatment from personal experience. But do u have test kits that test for ammonia and nitrite? How long have you had your tank? what does your tank contain?

p.s guppies are very sensitive to water chemistry. Finrot is contegious

theres only the one male in the pic below the rest of my 8 fish died two weeks ago from the same thing.... every test came out find nothings wrong with the water and I don't have any money to get the meds.... he hasn't ate for 3 days and is little body is huge...... fin on the one side is almo50% gone and his back tail is Blood Red going all down the edge of it...... nothing new in the tank.... I took him out a week ago and cleaned the whole tank and everything in it ...... he was doing fine till I stopped the melafix but the melafix was just holding it off it wasn't taking it away.....

Tank Temp is always 75 to 77F
Baby tank is always 77 to 79

I got some finrot med the other day for £4

That's about $5-6...I don't know if it would be cheaper/more expensive where you are. wouldnt hurt to look

I'm going to look tomorrow I got the money for it now I put some melafix in the tank to hold off the fungus/ what ever it is lol till tomorrow he seems to be doing ok for now ......hope I can save him
