I have some clear stringy slime that grows on my plants and the glass of the aquarium. They are attached to the side of the tank; spaced evenly and not in groups. I have had this problem twice before when the outbreak covered the entire tank, and you could not even look into it. I think it first originated from white spot but most of my fish died except my 2 oscars. I have one left because the other jumped out of the tank yesterday. I also have two ciclids in a 90 gallon tank...so three fish. There are no visible signs that they are sick. no white spots! I have had the tank running for over a month, i checked the ammonia levels and they are fine. The fish don't seem stressed out about it right now, but i would like to do something before matters get worse. It would be great if anyone has ahd this problem before and was able to extinguish it because I have tried everything..I think. Well thats what Petco. told me anyway. If you have any recommendations or help send to boxofsharpobjects@hotmail.com Thank you

If you want to just hear me rant, or not, but if you do, you can read! i don't care.....javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')
Its really funny actually I find out everytime i go their (PETCO) i hate that place even more. I went their today and that jack#ss didn't even listen to my infestation. He said "oh, its ich." No! their are no whitespots and I treated for ich for a full month with Rich ich+ beotch. So i was shopping for a pleco today, there, and I noticed mass amounts of fish were bellyup. I looked closer and pretty much at least one out of every fish in each tank had whitespot! SO i asked a different employee if I should buy a fish here because they look f*cking sick! ( if you didn't know most of their tanks are all hooked up together, so if one tank has a bug all the tanks do!) And I bless this mans soul for been strait and honest with me, as he shook his head "no." But then after I was just leaving he was scooping out some fish for some little kids that knew no better.
Just had to get that off my chest
