Hi
just been 4 months with my new tank, i've got an oscar and a pleco.

Something thats bugging me is the background picture that i have stuck on the back of the tank using bit of selotape.

The image appeared much darker when attached to the tank. Then I think some air got sucked out and left the background with some parts looking brighter and some duller.

How i can achieve this brightness all over the background? Is there a specific way to attach a plastic backgound to the tank?

Thank you

Holiday

what i do is get water droplets all over the bakground then just press it on the tank with no selo-tape and use a ruler to drag out the air bubbles but it comes off after a week or so, so you have to do it again and it gets a bit tedious and very annoying  :grr:

What I used to do was rub a wet cloth over the glass and the background before sticking it on, rub it on like wallpaper and if your lucky, there wont be any air bubbles. Mine stayed bright for months like this. I have seen stickers that allow you to stick the background to the inside glass but now I prefer the background to be dark with no plants or patterns on it as I think it looks more natural. The background I have now is like natural stone and brings out the plants and fish while not looking too plain.
