The camera gathers a lot more light, than the eye… it’s dark in the room, only light is coming through the backgrounds… this is the 1st ( dimmest stage ) there are 2 stages of brightness on the background light, before I manually turn on the main lights. So everything gets gradually lighter… same happens in reverse, at sunset, which happens between 10:00 and midnight, so the fish aren’t exposed to bright lights coming on or going off, & no bright room lights, after the tank lights have gone off…
