baby swordtails

Mrs Swordtail has given birth in the last 2 days & we have just spotted 2 fry swimming in the bushes .Are they likely to survive , what should i feed them and should i be doing anything special to protect them I am new to this game !!

You should seperate them from the others some how but im not sure what to feed them sory

do you have a smaller tank to could move them to so you can keep an eye on them? how big are they? i beleive fry are too small to take regular food but you might be able to get some fry food at the lfs...

keep them in a breeding net suspended within your main tank and feed them liquifry for a week or so, then see if they can handle crushed flakes, after that slightly bigger flakes and mushed up bloodworm, then whatever you normally feed your fish!
