Baby Snails

hi,
i have found a new type of snail in my aquarium, they are not pond snails, the shells are much lighter coloured and the point of the shell is at the side of them not the back, i was thinking they might be apple snails, but they are very small, so could someone tell me approximately the type and size of any baby snails that could match the desription above.
