what do i feed my about 2 week old baby cherry shrimps? They are about 5 mm long. I havnt fed them since, since i thought they would be satisfied with the algae in the tank.

A few days ago, they were going crazy and it kinda looked like they were hungry. I gave them some fish flake food and they ate it all up in a hurry. They are going crazy swimmin around everyday, what do i feed them?

i have 3 questions

1. what do i feed my baby cherries
2.is there a possibility the adult cherry shrimps would breed a tiger shrimp since they are so similiar, kinda like the RCS breeding a BCS?
3.how come my cherries dont breed anymore? will raising the temp. encourage it? i see saddles and everything. btw i have 3 red cherries (adult) and about 15 red cherry shrimplets.

ty for help :)

1. Shrimp/algae pellets sometimes they need to be grounded up. As a temporary measure you can feed fish food but you will get stronger better coloured shrimp if you feed them properly
2. Impossible for them to hybridise tigers are cardinia whilst cherries are neocardinia. This list shows you the common names and the scientific names and if the first name matches then there is a chance they will hybridise. RCS and RBS are the same species they are just colour morphs of bee shrimp which have been selectively bred for their colouration.
3. Due to stress perhaps through; poor water quality, danger of predators, not planted enough to feel secure, ect. Temps wise aslong as the temp is above 16C they will breed the higher you raise the temperature the shorter their lifecycle as their metabolism speeds up aswell.

can i mix neocardina shrimp with cardina shrimp? will they fight or anything?
