baby plec cant suck

my brother bought a baby commen plec today. its only 1 inch big. When ever it goes to suck on the side of the tank, it falls over onto its back.
Will it ever outgrow that and be able to suck on the side of the tank?

I dont know much about plec's got my first 1 today, but a sucker mouth plec which cant suck... Hmmm i would be slightly worried...

well i have more news to add to this. the fish is very energetic, and swims alot, and gets flipped upsidedown, ands cant get himself back right side up.

I'm sorry to say that he will be dead by the end of tomorrow. It sound like a viral infection has got to his brain.

This happened to our two Chacachaca catfish, now sadly both dead.

aww. thats sad. will the others have the same sicknes aswell?

and can that spread to the others in his tank?

It is absoluetly horrible to watch. My Medusa head must have had an infection because he did exactly the same thing. No body in my tank seemed to have the problem. All my plecs are doing just fine. It was just him, the most expensive and beautiful one. I know I am nuts but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?
