How big are they both now?
 
At my best estimate, Aristotle is 12", Marie is 8"-ish

How quickly do oscars grow to this size? They are so awesome looking.. They seem like they would have such personalities. :)

They really do have great personalities :nod:
They grow super fast... they reach like 8" in the first year? That's a rough estimate.

ETA, had a slight pic problem, they were huge and then I shrunk them too small!
 
oscars are just unbearably cute and tempting when babies... its their doom because the vast majority of people don't have any idea what they're getting into when they buy two or three.

Aristotle is an oscar, Marie (the tailless one) is a midas hybrid.

My Peacock Bass when he was about 2.5-3.5 inches

If you wondering about the tail... a fight with the oscar when he was still young... it never healed.
