Are they any way that this could happen she still looks like a baby her self and she sure looks like she is pregant she doesnt act like she is sick or nothing could they be anything else wrong with her how young do they usually start having babies does anyone know

I have a similar situation myself...I have a platy that's only about an inch long, and most likely pregnant. I know some people that responded to my post said that it is very possible for her to have babies, but there would only be about a half a dozen. And if there was any physical risk to the mommy-to-be, she'd most likely abort.

THANKS I SURE THINK SHE IS GOING TO HAVE BABIES ALL THE CARDS ARE POINTING TOWARDS HER BEING PREGNANT I SURE CANT HANDLE ANOTHER BUNCH OF BABIES I ALREADY HAVE 24 MOLLIES 18 GUPPIES I CANT HOUSE ALL THESE FISH. I SURE THINK I PICKED THE WRONG KIND OF FISH TO HAVE I THINK I WILL TAKE THEM BACK TO THE STORE.

It all depends how warm the tank is. If the tank is colder like 65 degrees the fish's metabolism slows and it takes longer to develop, but the fish lives longer. In warmer temps like 72 the fish could be mature in about 2 months. Make sure that you keep up with the water changes. At least 10% each week needs to be changed for the parents tank. The babied need cleaner water, and the water should be changed about 10% every 2-3 days. Best food that I have found are Earthworms (messy & stinky, but works), Boiled Carrots (makes collors appear quicker) bbs (fry love it) Egg yolk (has to be boiled and let cool before feeding. Mash it up in some water to soften. feed with a toothpick, a little goes far) I hope this helps. I have breed guppies for a while now and this works for me.

I just found out three months old they can have babies I think that is right I sure hope not I already have 60 babies so far.

Mine are grwoing one of them is getting big and big fast and the others ones are either bigger or smaller than teh other it is amazing i can't wait till they get big enough to be with the others

I believe I can watch them grow everyday I dont think it is time to have babies yet I think they had a problem going to the bathroom since I gave her the salt her little belly went down. But if they are one thing that I have learned that mollies sure thrive on salt. One of those black babies got a eye fungus and I didnt have to put them on any medicine at all I gave them both a salt bath and it done wonders for them both.
