i bought two new baby masked corries the day before yesterday and one of them now is very thin and almost transparent whereas the other looks healthy and plump. the poorly one appears very weak (barely swimming around and a lot of sitting still) and doesn't seem to be eating - what can i do?

is this a poorly fish / weak specimen and i should take him back or what...

i'd really appreciate some advice - poor little guy clearly isn't well

hmmm... I would put him in his own tank and try feeding him something on his own (like bloodworms) or something soft. He may have an internal parasite if he looks thin...I would actually post a new thread on Tropical Fish Emergencies.

Hi joloco :)

I'm sorry I didn't see your question sooner, but I've been away at the Catfish Convention for the last few days.

How is the little fellow doing now?
