Baby Gold Shouldered Cory

I have one Gold Shouldered Cory and one Bronze Cory and I have to assume that they have bred as I have now got a baby Gold Shouldered in my tank, I was wondering if this is normal? are they just a colour variant or a separate strain altogether?

They are closely related to the aeneous family,so yep more than likely they will breed together.

Thanks Harlequins..I figured as much as there aren't really any other combinations of Corydoras' in my tank for this baby to come about.
