baby fish yellow labs

My yellow labs had babies back in december and i was told to be careful as the parents will eat them out of five only 2 made it and the parents are still looking after them now its the bigger fish in the tank that try to eat them so is this not normal for the parents to still be looking out for thier babies they are now about three months old

Most cichlids are predators, so yes if the fry can still fit into their mouth they'll still hunt it down. You should try raising them in a seperate, smaller tank because it must be hard for them to get food with adults in the same tank as them.

they are doing great they feed fine and they get chased every now and then but no more than the other fish
