Baby Fish Help Neded Urgently!

NO3 = 10 mg/l

NO2 = 0

Must admit that sticks don't seem to have ammonia test.

It shows various scales of GH, which I think is hardness. We have vey hard water here but they all read within normal. KH is 10d, pH is 7.6 and cl2 is 0?

It's hard to know without the ammonia test.
Test the NO3 for the tap water, this may give you an indication.
If the NO3 from the tap is less than the aquarium one, then there is some type of cycle going,although it still may not be a completed one. You do need an ammonia test.

Pescesenelrio you really, really need a liquid test kit. The API kit is a good compromise between cost and performance and will be cheapest if you buy it off eBay. The test strips are litle better than a go/no-go test, i.e. they'll tell you that you have or haven't got ammonia for example. But they are just not good enough to get you through a fish-in cycle. Do the little guys a favour and invest in a liquid test kit or you will almost certainly end up with dead fish.

Oh and just note that the fish shop's prime motive is profit. The people here's prime motive is healthy fish and happy fish keepers and our collective knowledge far outweighs that of any single fish shop.

Have not commented for a while as didn't want to get involved in any deep conversations but just wanted you to know that all is still well and that the babies are now over 1cm long and quite active!
