have previously found daphnia cultures easy to set up, are the new born babies any good as betta fry food?

I've read that they are. I feed my 6 wk old betta fry frozen daphnia, I'm sure the live would be much better.

Yep I use them, but feed them crushed spirulina for added vitality and nutrient content.

I have found that pulex are too large for fry that are under 2 weeks old.
But I had some true moina, and the adults were only a little larger than weel old pulex, and I think they would be great t0o add to a fry tank.
