:hyper: i'v just spotted a baby BN in my tank and are on the look out for more do they need special food or will they eat algea pelets i am turely amazed :hyper:

Well done!

I normally give me newly born bristles some brine shrimp for a few days then they start munching on wafers and lots of cucumber. Have they lost their little sack on the belly yet? They feed off that till its all gone.

i don't know if they've lost there sack yet i only one at the back of the tank and they are soooooooo small only a few mm to be presiced :hyper:

we get about 30-40 to start with...
BUT natural selection normally leaves us with 20-30 that grow up.

if they are all gray - its good -- i means that you mr bristle nose has been doing his job well and didnt let them out too early - if they dont have an orange bit they are now free eating and will need food (although the may be ok on algae).

we feed un blanched cucumber.

:dunno: there in a community tank with 4cherry barbs, 4neons, 1cardinal tetra,8 guppies, 1swordtail, 1 seven month old baby bristlenose and there 2 parents should i separate them ????

Are you not the one who posted pictures that weren't yours?
If not ignore that question and congratulations on your little baby(s).

Look its not nice to post pictures that aren't yours and to tell lies.
In future post your own fish and try not feel the need to compete with other members as some members have been keeping fish for many years.
All of our first tanks were basic and we progressed to keep bigger and better fish just likwe you and your sister will. No hard feelings :D
