could i use a 29g as a baby grow out tank?

I am, but my spawn is only about a hundred, and I'll probably be jarring them earlier rather than later.

A 29 will be good, you can begin jarring (so you don't overcrowd) as soon as they get their labyrinth organ. Usually around 6 weeks.

Bwee, I wish I could breed. But right now I'm getting ready for my four week trip to europe.. So.. my fish are going to be looked after by my father. Haha.. Luckilly he's owned fish, and knows how to take care of them.
