Do they hatch ok on the bottom of the tank? I thought they usually won't hatch if they aren't up at the top of the water.

My Bettas spawned this week as well, but it appears he didn't fertilize them as they all went bad and then he ate them. It was his first try at it though and only 4 months, so I'm hoping he will improve next try.

Congratulations! My little babies will be two weeks old on Wednesday and I have a pair that looks like they'll spawn sometime today!

Some have gone white possible not fertilized, all the young ones hanging on the glass now, at the top of the tank too many to count so most have hatched, got the white ones out with an eye dropper, yes should get a good batch, of crowntails babies from this spawning,
