Hi,

I have a red/orange sword tail that has had babies in my 10g tank. They are very cute but I am wondering what to do so that they will live. I have river rocks on the bottom of the tank and they are currently hiding in those but ...

What should I do?

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

First off you could add afew more live or silk plants to help with not being eaten. Or you could move mama to a new home. Or third you get a tank divider to keep mama away. Im assuming these are the only fish in the tank currently. If not then the divider will not be theway to go.

If you can I would reccomend getting a breeding tank. If this isn't possible maybe a breeding net and get the fry in there...if this isn't possible then your best bet is to get some more vegetation so your fry have a chance. Good Luck :D
