Here is the new tank I am wanting to set up. The problem is, I would prefer to separate it 50/50.. just it's very tall! What's the best solution for this?

It's reduced from 150 to 109 quid, with stand, filter and heater.

Any ideas?

Yeah.. it's just such a beastly tank. I wish I had taken a photo of the depth now.. it didn't say the litre but its 2ft across and about 5ft high. I might make a fake divider and see what it looks like with it instore.
 
if that is the Japanese one that is imported and badged by clearseal,
then all I'll say is....
of the four I sold when in the trade, 3 were returned due to leaking from the back seam
 
no offence but it not very nice :unsure:

and buy spliting it in 2 it would look well nasty IMO
 
I had a go at sprucing it up. I won't be dividing it anymore I don't think.

As for any leaks, I'll make short work of them. It's obviously going through the motions for the moment, hence the floating plant and lack of many decorations.
