Hi

I ordered one of these for my 12litre from Ebay and have recieved it today ... is it just me, is it broken ... or are they really that crap?

I've spun the "flow control knob" round all ways it can go and the flow is literally like a trickle! it's creating no turbulence at all! I can't even feel anything against my hand when I put it right close.

It says it's suitable for tanks up to 50 litres ... but it's not doing anything in my 12 litre

Has anyone got one of these ... if so is yours the same or have I just got a dud one?

Is it properly fitted and submerged. For example if the waterline is not as high as it should be then that could cause the trickle you mention.

If it is fitted properly then it probably is just broken. Was it brand new?

Well, I've set it up as per the instructions, or lack there of The waterline is 1-2cm below the outflow as directed.

i have one for a 10l tank.

doesnt fliter much but its o for a 10l

theyre cheap plastic rubbish IMO, ive had a few and theyre a bit cheap and poorly made.

quite noisy and you only get a trickle
