Axolotl

I recently got one. They wont eat food if the temp is below 19c and about 25c. Dont need heater. Really picky and hard to feed. Have to place food right in front of them. What other info are you after?

What size should you keep them in? How about a 20 US gallon long tank?

Also, is there any fish you could keep them with... Like maybe crab, frog, neon tetras, a betta, guppies...etc?

No they are best alone. Because most fish especially fighter fish (bettas) bite at their legs. They do grow back but would be best not to have them lost in the first place. I would assume crab, frogs would bite at its legs aswell. It would most likely eat the neons aswell. I think a 60L tank would be a good enough tank for them. I think a 20gal long tank is more then a 60L tank. Could be wrong tho. Hope that helps

Ive got 2 in a 60l and so do alot of people. Mine arent picky eaters. They eat live and frozen tubifex and bloodworm and frozen beefheart. You can get sinking carnviore pellets by hikari when theyre big enought to eat them and sinking trout and salmon pellets. In England at the mo im finding it hard to keep the temp low its about 22 degres on average. Use sand as gravel if ingested can clog up theyre digestive system.
Ill add more info if i can think of any.
All i can say is theyre great and have alot of personallity!

What colors do they come in? I've heard yellow, black and the white ones..

Oh and donna123 I live in Washington so that'd be kinda hard to bet from you lol. But I'd take if it I could, I really want one... our pet stores here don't carry them. If you ask them to order in some they never do. :(

i think they are ugly in a cute sort off way lmao
i have got 3 and about 100 eggs which started to hatch yesterday.
still looking for some more but not too easy to find. (well thats what i find here in middlesbrough)
mine love worms and liver. but the liver makes the tank messy so i tend to feed the liver the day of water change.
but they are great

WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD CHOICE ON THE AXIES wat exactly dose u want to know i would consider myself as an expert when it comes to axoltols and i think u will find they are infact not picky or hard to feed and 20g should be ok for a couple of them but i wouldnt like the see them in much less than that and they will eat food under 19c dude but yea they are indeed cold water AND NO TANK MATES!!!!! the only thing u coulod keep with them is snails and even that could be a problem in the case that the snail runs out of mess and starts sucking the slime off of them so u got any more questions realy???
