Axolotl

Could someone who own/s/ed an axolotl tell me how they cleaned the tank out. I'm having problems thinking about a syphon on such low water.

I filter my axies and do part water changes then 3rd day and i use an aquariam vac to pick the rubish up

I wouldnt call 8" of water in a 4ft tank a tiny bit water
