Awww- I want one!!

This weekend one of my LFS was selling these:
Spotted Climbing Perch
I really ,really want one but after research i realise they will probably fight with my Butterfly fish and I would need to get a bigger tank. Life is so unfair sometimes.

I see no reason why they would fight, both fish occupy different areas of the aquarium and neither are known for overly territorial behaviour. Ctenopoma acutirostre is a peaceful but predatory fish that will view fish under 3" as food but should make a ideal tankmate for Pantodon buchholzi.

Aaaaah... I've seen those fish at the store I work at. They don't really *do* a lot though. They just stay in the same place mostly

Maybe because they are normally nocturnal.

I brought these two when fully grown and I had to seperate them from my African Butterfly Fish and others because they were trying to attack them, but I should think this is a rare occurance and it may have somethine to do with the fish being nearly 8" already.
