got home from work and everything went heywire. my mom surpirsed me with a yellow clown goby. looks to be in good health and a nice full belly. i dont really have room in my tank but added him but if he causes probs then ill take him a lfs. anyway i had to do a partial. while doing so i knocked my light in to the water while one of my hands was in the water and the light was on. got a bit of a shock and it nearly blew my light out. then i noticed a a very small wound on my missbarred true perc clown so i added a half dose of melafix which was supposed to be reef safe. immediatly my zoo colony closed up and all my inverts started acting up. so i did a partial and realized im getting short on RO water so i went to get some fresh carbon to put into my filter to remove the melafix and all the petstores around me were closed so we had to drive for 20 min to go to walmart just to get carbon for 4 dollars. now everything in my tank is pretty stressed out. *i pray this doesnt cause an ich outbreak in my tank*

its better now. this morning the zoo polyps were nearly fully open and the feather duster wasnt as stressed. when home every one was fine except the feather duster was still a tad stressed. it never lost its "feathers" though. i had went out earlier to get a stand for one of my other tanks and more fish and when i was done i sat and watched my nano for a few just to find out that my older clown has a taste for fish and took a chunck out of my misbarred perc's gill. that poor guy is really stressed now. i sepperated him in a small tank filled with some tank water. im gonna call the lfs i get my SW stuff(fish, RO water, cleaning crew etc. and i was even there today) and see if they will take him. hopefully they will cuzz i dont have a seperate tank(or the money to atm) to set up for him to treat him or anything.

since it looks like i cant have another clown in my tank, what could i have? the other fish in the tank is just my clown and yellow clown goby(which is doing fine and doesnt seem stressed at all) btw i wont add any new fish for a week or so(to allow the tank to settle) so i have time to really research what i like.

thanks. unfortunetly the clown that i had to seperate died shortly after my last post. but everything else is fine. they just need sometime to relax and all from the stress.
