A few of you might remember that, a few days ago, I posted that I was going on a short holiday and needed to know whether my betta would be okay without water changes. I've just brought Jerry home from my friends' house and he is fine. 
And while I was there I got a pleasant surprise. Her betta, Rags, was previously in a tiny little vase, no more than 1/2 a gallon. His fins were tattered from ammonia build up in the teensy tank and he hardly had room to swim.
Well, while my friend was caring for my betta Jerry she noticed that he was a lot more active than Rags. His colour was more even (they're both red VTs) than Rags's and he seemed to swim more. So my friend went out and bought her Rags a 1.5 gallon Kritter Keeper like mine and a fake plant. Her betta is more active now, his colour has deepened and he generally seems happier. She also set the new tank up to look like mine.

I just thought I'd share this with you guys because I know you're suckers for happy endings and I feel so happy to know Jerry and I helped make Rags happier!
