Well, as things go, I have a strong fondness for videogames. (It's a habit I'm trying to break, but to no avail... they're just too fun.) Most of my favorites are Role Playing Games, and I try to keep mature content to a minimum when making choices in games.
Currently, I'm in possession of a Wii and PS2. My favorite games on the Wii are the Gamecube game Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (which I somehow lost the disc to), and its Wii sequel, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. On my PS2, I play games from the "Tales of..." series, some of which have never been translated into English and remain Japanese exclusive. (Due to this, I've developed a fair knowledge of katakana, although in a move that could be considered insulting to Japanese people, I've made minimal efforts to learn any other aspects of the language.) Also, something which my brother recently got me into, the simulated cyberpunk MMORPG, .hack, has sparked quite a bit of interest in the realm of PS2 games (it originally started with me playing the first game, then watching the first season of the anime, which then progressed into the next version of the anime, which brought me into the second series of games, which I am currently seeking with minimal luck... a recent outburst in a game store up in Endicott, New York, revealed the true nature of my frustration with not being able to find the first in a series. *sigh*...)
I also happen to own a Nintendo DS. I'm looking forward to Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, but aside from a few assorted games such as Nintendogs and Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, I don't use my DS for much. I do, however, use it for reminiscing on past generations with my remaining Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones cartridges (I lost my other FE cart...) and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. It provides a fair amount of entertainment on long trips, though.
There are other games I like to play on the computer. The Sims 1, Sim City 3000 and Aquazone are a few examples. I generally like virtual life simulators on the computer, but I do have an affinity for a few real-time strategy games such as WarCraft. I also have a tendency to not like the console versions quite as much.
