Automatic Feeders

Aloha, im going on holiday in a few weeks and my fish will need one of these while im gone, does anyone have any experience of them, different makes and how good they are?

have tried the one that is round and sits above the water(forget the brand name will look when i get home tonight) It is great as long as you are very careful getting the food into the little compartments. If you get some outside the compartments the mechanism clogs up and it doesnt turn any more. There are some that are plastic and some like this that are metal...the metal ones are more expensive but are more reliable. HTH

Which ever one you choose make sure yoou use it for a week or so before you go to ensure that all is well.

Thats a good idea
