i don't understand what it means when it says "Dispenses finely crushed flake food twice a day for up to 4 weeks unattended." does it means that it will only work after 4 weeks?

either that or after 4 weeks without a water change there might not be any fish left to feed

I wouldn't want to leave my tank unattended for that long though. One of the joys for me as a fishkeeper is feeding my fish so the only way I would use one of those is if I had to be gone for more than a few days.

note the unatended part that means that if anyone goes near it before the 4 weeks is up it wont sart after the 4 weeks is up... sounds like a fish starving mashine to me.

I think if anyone goes near it before 4 weeks are up it'll self-destruct and drain all the water out with it
