Automatic Feeder

Hi there,

I am having a problem and I am hoping someone has some insights. I have been usin an sutomatic feeder for about 2 years now without a problem, but within the last couple of months, I have noticed that the food is becoming very mushy and left long enough begins to smell. Any ideas why this might be happening now and not before?

is the food getting any moisture?

It must be getting some water from the tank in it.

You dont say what make the feeder is but if its a Fishmate there is a spike on the underside which you can attach an airline / pump to which prevents moisture buildup and mushyness!
