Whilst on holiday Down Under (Qld) in 07. I spotted a particularly nice oil painting in a gallery.
It was featured in an Australian Art magazine and it was hanging on the wall priced at $600 AUD
I simply had to have it. there was no way on God's earth I was going home without it.
Its called "Apprentices/Young Warriors" by an aboriginal chap by the name of Flynn J. Wallace
I had the canvas framed on our return home. Probably the most expensive picture I'll ever purchase.
but to me it was well worth the outlay
