i got a small tank for my 2 breeding angels bout 6 months ago, and the aglae problem is gettin real bad... i have to scrape it off the plants and the glass evry week. i have lots of plants in there, and ive tried changing the water (replacing bout 50% of the water with water from my large, well-established community tank) but it hasnt helped. i cant get an algae-eating fish cos the angels eat the eggs if they feel threatened by other fish, and theyd prob pick on it anyway, (they get quite agressive towards anything invading their territory). im not really sure what else i can do -_- id appreciate any advice

what is the size of the tank, and the amount of the light you have over the tank..

Also dont put water from the main tank in aswell, there might be lots of algae you can't see in the water that is just waiting for the right conditions to start grow..

I don't know much about Angels but maybe Amano shrimp might be an option. They eat algae and don't add much to the bio-load of the tank.
