I was wandering if they are actually worth getting over just a stick scraper, what do you all think?

not to sound too idiotic but i don't know what a stick scraper is... anyhow, these things are just cool, you don't have to get your arms wet and now hard scrubbing is required- just drag it along the outside

Definitely better. You'll never regret buying a magnetic cleaner.

I use mine on 99% of the glass... but I use the sponge for the parts of the glass that are close to the gravel, and on the decorations in the tank.

How ironic. I bought myself a magnetic cleaner today! Your arms never get wet, except for maybe just the fingertips in order to place the magnet in the tank but, these things are so cool!

Nino- I think VantgE means a wooden or plastic stick with an algae-remover sponge on the end of it.

Logitech- I keep my algae magnet in the corner of my tank all the time, so I rarely need to get my fingers wet (the only time I remove it is to clean the algae off, but I don't do this very often).

I use one of those magnetic cleaners that float. I'd recommend them to anyone!!
