so pulling up this project as nd aquatics wants £950 to build onsite.. cos a a factory build (£550) 8 footer wont fit via doors...

Weight check looks fine to me though.

ta zodds.. easy bit is done.. fiber glass mold is going to be a pain.. iam plannng to fully mold with 600gsm cloths.

Feather fins and that white tip cats for bottom.
Discus, angels and severums for middle.
Tiger barbs foe schooling..

And few odd ones ( rescue fish from here and there.. )

Was slightly distracted from all the impressive DIY (excuse my girly brain) by that lovely 400 setup. Do the discus and angels get along OK? I'd be really interested in trying something similar as they're my all time fave fishies.

screwing around.i used 5 by 100 mm screws for every inch... they r outdoor screws. plywood is 1 inch thick.
i used liquid nails as wood glue.. after some careful thinking, i went internal bracing.

also not sure about glass or acrylic for obvious reasons.. somebody help me out here..

Ta.. Yep discus and angel do well.. I have had this combo for years.. Just make sure discus is eating well used to the setup before add angels..

I got my four footer a year ago and I now think it looks small.
