O.k, the nitrate spike is waay too lethal for the fish and it is taking too long. Like I said, I am going to put the fish in another smaller tank while I fix the problem. The tank that is being fixed is the ten gallon. My quarantine tank is 2 gallons (2.5 gallons excluding the algea rock for the pleco, the filter, and the gravel).
Now, the nitrate level is currently 80.0. Should I leave the fish in the ten gallon for the night or should I go ahead and put the fish in the quarantine tank or should I leave them in the high nitrate tank for the night? I took care of chlorine and heavy metals in the quarantine tank, I put a rock from the old tank in that has algea, and I did all the nessecary water tests. I basically took every procedure, filter and all.
