At a loss and need help

My alage eaters bodies are been eaten by some kind of disease and I can't figure it out. The only other fish I have in tank with them are guppies and they are not picking on them nor have the problem themselves.
I need help figureing out what it is and how to cure them before it's to late to save them.

Are they still alive? if so are the sores open and red/white?
What are the readings in the tank?

Ok, can you help us out with a bit more info on your tank and your fish?
A disease is eating your catfish? What kind of fish are they? What are the symptoms? Are the fins disintegrating or perhaps holes appearing on the fishes body?
Tank test readings would be a help also, can you tell us the PH, ammonia and nitrite. How often do you change some water in the tank?
Im sorry to have lots of questions and very little in the way of answers but without the info, my guess is as good as yours!!

I change the water in my 20 gal. tank once a week. All the readings are in the areas they should be in.
