Assasin Snails

Seeing as i am getting one tommorow i was wondering what specific food i should feed it after it munches up all my snails? Would it prefer meaty wafers, pellets, algae based things... Also do they have any specific requirements? Finally I was wondering what size they eventually grow to and whether this is affected by the size of the tank/feeding regime?

Algae, sinking dried food etc. As for special requirements snails. ( which I'm sure you have plenty of!)

yes... plenty infact it turns out i have two independent speices multiplying like mad!!!

You might find you need more than one.

I've had a couple in my tank for a week, and they eat maybe one snail each a day (guesstimate from empty shells).

hmm ok i might think of getting more, but are there any specific foods to feed them

dont forget if you get more than 1, you might (will) end up with lots of assasins!

very true, i only have a 35l tank to so i dont want too many
