as sleep or just dying ?

he people,

i wonder if any1 can help me ! had my tank for about 6 months now, everthing fine, water had loads of fry etc, BUT this week 1 of my male platties has decided to lay on the bottom of the tank on his side !!! then later on he'll swim round and then do the same again, all day long !


HELP what is wrong with him ???

could be a swim bladder infection

If your tank has got mainly platties and no other fish which are sensitive to salt.....You could try adding a bit of salt into the tank to help.

Or it might just be old.

Is it scratching or moving it's body when tipped over or is it just dropping onto its side?
