can i just ask if there are any do's and dont's on lighting i have 1 orange bulb and 2 that seem to be green ish ? what they do i have no idea lol

What they do? Provide light, I'd guess. What are these "bulbs"? Are they actually tinted green and orange? Are they actually PC flourescent tubes? Do they have any identifying markings or labels on them? Can you provide any kind of info whatsoever to give us even a tiny, little chance of giving a useful response?

You only need "special" lights for f/w trops if you want to grow plants or want to bring out your fishes colours.

ok ... i have a central tube that has bio lux 20w on and then the 2 outer tubes dont appear to have any markings on SEE IM GETTING ALL TECHNICAL ON YA NOW LOL
