i eat buttons
i hate this!
i thought my betta had a fin rot before i got him or something cause it looked like the aftermath of a slight case (i dunno, i thought maybe the store treated him)
anyways the other day it looked worse and there was red edges...
so it ended up to be the first signs that i was seeing before,
i asked around and people said that treating him in a bowl is a bad idea (too strong meds) and i don't have a hospital tank
so i asked around again about the contageosness as i have never delt with fin rot before and was told it was not contageous.......
i put him in my tank in a breeding net and treated the tank with jungle fungus cure fizz tablets (for fin rot, ulcers, open wounds, bacerial infections, etc.)
which was fine cause my gourami had a little sore on her face so the meds were good for her
BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after i put the betta in the tank i found out on the internet that fin rot is in fact "very contageous!"
ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i couldn't get online before since my internet wasn't working earlier and i was all too enthusiastic to treat my beautiful boy asap
MY QUESTION IS:
if the tank is already being treated for fin rot and all of that other stuff, will it still spread in my tank
??
if you haven't ever used jungle fizz tablets i have had a 100% success rate within' 48hours of treatment with every jungle product i have ever used (for ich, internal and external parasites and ammonia/conditioners)![nod  ](/images/smilies/ipb/yes.gif)
