Arrived Today

Yippee. I went to two different LFS's last weekend and saw two of the sweetest Peckoltia's. The first was the L204 and the other was the L134. I went onto Trimar's website and found these little guys at a very reasonable price. So on Wednesday I ordered a few and they arrived this morning.

We got 2 L134's and 2 L204. Unfortunately one of the L204's was DOA . Very upsetting, as they are so stunning and you feel so sorry for them. The L134's are about 2.5 inches and the L204's about 1.5 inches. We also got 2 true SAE's. The fish were brilliantly packaged and are very beautiful specimens. I am very impressed and extremely pleased (apart from our DOA) with them.

I haven't taken pics, as the L204 is under the bog wood and the L134's are hiding behind the filter canister and another log. The SAE's are already eating all the algae they can find.

Hopefully I'll have some pics up soon. They are stunning and I am very, very happy with my new additions.

Congrats on your new arrivals - sorry to hear about the DOA, but Trimar offer excellent service and I'm sure they'll sort that out with you

I'm intrigued as to what SAEs are, I'm imagining little self addressed envelopes swimming round eating your algae...(ok, I need a new brain)...

The SAE are Siamese algae eaters. They apparently eat all algae and we've been looking for some of these beautiful little critters for a while. Luckily for us Trimar had them, so we added them to the order.

I'll give them all a few more days and then take some pics.
