Arowana's

I was at PetsMart asking if they ever had Arowana's. They said no but they did have a "care sheet" for me. I took it, just to see how bad it would be... and man was it interesting.

The sheet said that at full size a 55 gallon tank will suffice to house the fish.

Maybe a 55 till they get a foot! I wouldnt even think about gettin a silver arrowana unless i had a 10ft by 4ft tank!

yep!!

unless your going to buy either a black, asian or australian arowana which need a 6x2x2 as a bare minimum then forget it!

Actually i think black arrows get alot bigger then the australian arowanas. Dont black arrows get like 3ft when the australians stay around 2ft?

not too sure on that, black might get a tad bigger more like 30" but i don't think they often make it to 3ft in captivity.
