Arnie Looks Sick Again!!!

Hey Guys...

Im worried about Arnie again!!! He never really got back to normal after the week or so he seemed really ill (lying on bottom of the tank, lost his colour, wasn't eating). He's now eating fairly normally, but his colour hasn't come completely back and he's nowhere near as active as he used to be!!!

And then... Today i noticed that he looks really swollen round his gills (dont know technical term!). He's not had anything different done! he had some bloodworms on wednesday and his usual Hikari pellets since. I tested the water and thats all fine and the cories in his tank seem fine too!!!

Ill attach some pictures as ive probably not explained it very well!! Im really worried about him, i know he's probably quite old but i dont want him to die!!!! He's been so sick recently though... Anyone know what i can do?!

Poor Arnie... What should i do?! Get some stuff to treat parasites and hope thats what is it?!

I'm sorry to hear that Arnie is feeling down again, I can't see anything too odd in the picture Do you see any open sores or lesions around his gills? Are they red?

Wuv - i dont know if you can see it too well in that second picture but just behind his gills it looks a bit pink and sore... Nothing major but after i saw how swollen he'd got i had a good look and it doesn't seem right... I had a look at some older pictures of him and he does seem really swollen!
