Well I decided to take Ty down to the new house on Saturday and tried to get some painting done, needless to say couldnt do much with him about. Ty has managed to come out looking like a zebra with the white gloss. Luckily the ones on his back we managed to remove but the ones on his ear well they will have to stay there until his hairs fall out, at least he cant lick those.

I think Ty will be ok in the new house as he was already very protective of it, when Chris' dad came to drop off some stuff in the house he had a right go (I was nearly pulled over). But as soon as we took him out he was fine with his dad. It wasnt just his dad though when the lads from next door came to mow the lawn in the back and bring in the fridge freezer he went bezzerk again. I'm thinking in a way this isnt a bad thing as found out that people are using our back fence to get into the garden behind (cheeky swines have built a path too across their mud) they will soon be scared off when they have Ty on they're heels (I hope).

I do have a problem though Ty's behaviour is getting really bad at the moment, (probably boredom and frustration as not getting much time to spend with him as have lots to get done), yesterday I stayed in bed until 10am (thats my sleepin) but my dad was up at around 8am so he let Ty out etc. Whenever Ty came in he'd start barking (this is not like him at all). I swear he's copying the border collie from Dog Borstal the other day as he lies on my bed whilst we watch it. Anyway my dad would let him out in the garden and two seconds later he'd be back in and barking. When I eventually got up all Ty wanted to do was play, not a problem if he's using his toys etc but instead he was biting me and pulling me about (not very impressed with) then when I was on the phone to my sister he grabbed my jumper/arm and pulled me off the sofa (I swear I could have smacked him one yesterday). I eventually decide I've had enough of this and just go to the house (I'd promised myself I wouldnt as was really achy and tired) when I got back 3-4 hours later he was still the same at one point I chucked him out of the room after he started up again (I had been playing with him) took him for a walk but that didnt help as he didnt want to be out (wet and windy typical wuss of a dog), he started up again after the walk. A few hours later Chris comes home and he's fine, he settles down on the bed with us then when I say good night to him he totters off downstairs like nothing is wrong. I hope when we move this behaviour settles down again as I dont think I'll be able to cope with that behaviour and a new baby.

Sorry for the very long post

Hi,
maybe he knows that there is a lot of change to come ,
and he can sense mood changes in humans aswell, i have been reading all the posts and you have a lot to deal with right now, i remember when i was 6 months gone with my second baby, i just cried at silly things, like one time my hubby wanted to buy me a dish washer, anyone else would of loved that i just burst in to tears because i did not want one  .
i do wish you all the best with the house move and hope TY settles down very soon,
take care with the bump, all the best Donna :)

Thanks donna123, I have so much to get done and so little time to do it which doesnt help with having Ty as he needs more than I can give at the moment especially with time and attention, especially as I dont start my maternity leave until the end of December.

Bump seems to be taking good care of himself lol.... especially with accident prone me.

Just thought if Ty is too boisterous I can always chuck him out in the garden for a few hours and let Chris deal with him when he gets back..... I really do hope he calms down soon though as really hate feeling like I want to crack him one its not fair on him and its not his fault he's bored.
